Practice Play and single person Games

In most online Pool websites you will have the option to play against another player, what we call Person2Person. Some websites will offer you all sorts of tournaments. But in order to become good enough to beat other players or win online tournaments you might consider playing alone for a while or playing against a robot that might be available in some of the games.

When you play on a Practice Mode with no rival in sight you will be able to attempt the different types of shots and improve your abilities. Playing against a robot will allow you to see how you perform I real life match but with no rival bothering you or pressuring you for time. Also these modes would not affect your ranking so you can start playing for ranking only when you are ready and feel confident of your game.

If you intend to start playing for cash I strongly recommend playing against a robot first. Some websites offer robots that vary in their level of game and it will be best to test your ability against their level before wagering money against real players.
